Copper is a natural metal that oxidizes due to environmental influences and forms a greenish patina. This is harmless to health and is purely a visual impairment. Our cleaning recommendation is to rub the tongue scraper with lemon or vinegar, for example, and rinse with warm water. This can prevent the formation of a patina.

I can only highly recommend it. For fresh breath and to get rid of the harmful bacteria on the tongue. A daily MUST after brushing your teeth.

I have never used a tongue scraper before, but despite the strong gag reflex I want to try to incorporate my tongue into my daily oral care routine. I chose this copper scraper because of its antibacterial effect. To make the scraper easier to store, I tied the ends together with a small cable tie so that I can easily put it in a glass.
